The company was an industry-recognized, award-winning leader and one of the Top 10 most visited e-commerce websites in 1999 and 2000 (PC Data).
Specific accomplishments included:- Designed and created the initial prototype used to secure funding.
- Built Research and Development department from inception to an organization that included Software Development, QA, Project Management, Technical Documentation, IT and Operations. Staff included more than 100 employees and an annual budget exceeding $9 million.
- Managed all Research and Development schedules and deliverables.
- Managed 24x7x365 site operations, averaging 99.97% uptime.
- Managed the corporate network and infrastructure, including applications such as Vantive, Peoplesoft, Citrix, Sendmail and Microsoft Exchange and networking hardware such as firewalls, switches and routers.
- Managed the patent process, which included multiple filings. A patent for the primary IP filing was awarded by the PTO, and multiple patents are pending.
