Dave has over 15 years of experience as a technical entrepreneur.
Most recently as co-founder and CTO at MessageCast, Inc., Dave was responsible for all aspects of the company's technology. MessageCast was acquired by Microsoft Corporation (NASD:MSFT) in 2005. Currently at Microsoft, Dave is responsible for the Windows Live RSS platform, as well as integrating the MessageCast technology into Windows Live.
Prior to MessageCast, Dave was a co-founder and CTO of iPrint Technologies, the award winning e-commerce print shop. iPrint (NASD:IPRT) was taken private in a 2001 merger.
Prior to iPrint, Dave worked in technical roles at Deluxe Corporation, KPMG and Visa International.
Dave has strong open source, acquisition and patent experience. He has successfully:
- Raised multiple rounds of venture-backed financing
- Architected highly scaleable transaction-intensive infrastructure
- Built both large and small teams
- Worked with the media and analysts
In addition to holding a patent for e-commerce process work, Dave has multiple patent applications pending. He received his B.S. M.I.S. (1990) and M.B.A. (1992) from California State University, Chico.
